Subject: Project Ike

Hello Everyone,

We have recently started a video series called Project Ike with Ike of Ikesoutdoors.com. Ike is struggling with some form issues as well as a bad case of target panic. I have offered to create the video series that both members & non-members of Archery Lessons Online can view. Everyone can tag along as we take a look at Ike's form & over the video series we will transform him into the shooter he wants to be!

"Mathews Triumph" Single Cam draw stop. One of the most important aspects associated with long range accuracy is a consistant draw length & anchor location. When your bow has "sponge" in the back wall, there is a tendancy for your draw length to fluctuate slightly. When executing your shots with back tension, ideally you want as solid of a wall as possible with no slop or play. Lesson 2 Setting Goals I was recently asked a great question by one of my students that is shooting a lot of indoor right now. He wanted to know “what is a good number to set as a goal for my indoor score?” He mentioned that he was hoping for something in the 300 55X range, and wanted to know if that was an appropriate goal to set for himself. Lesson 5 Balancing your bow Stabilizers are often fundamentally misunderstood as a tool for simply absorbing the shock of the shot as the bow fires. Shock absorption is nice to have, but it is not the main purpose for a stabilizer by any means.
